Triplets

"Prayer Triplets" is a simple plan for
you to pray with others, that people in your circle of concern may find
abundant and eternal life through Jesus Christ. Intercessory prayer is
hard work. It seldom comes naturally so you need discipline and support. Prayer
Triplets can help focus your prayer life by making it systematic and
by having two other friends pray with you.
"Where two or three come together

Hard Work - Simple System
Choose two other people with whom you have some things in
common and whom you trust.
Ask if they would be willing to covenant as a Prayer
Triplet. Talk about your concerns for persons who are outside of a
relationship with Jesus Christ.
Agree to meet regularly for intercessory prayer, focusing on
evangelism and spiritual renewal. Meet weekly or even daily - whatever
fits your schedule.
Covenant to share names of three people who you feel have
never responded to Christ's invitation to follow him.
Establish that the Prayer Triplet will pray for the
nine persons on your lists - and each other.
Pray for the renewal of your church and revival in your
community
When You Get Together
Share what God has given to you as you have read the Bible. Share
your personal experiences with God
Tell encouraging news of the people for whom you have been
praying
Pray for the people on your list: their need, their families and
most importantly that they will discover their own need for Jesus
Christ as Lord and Savior and make a decision to follow him.
Pray for opportunities to bless those for whom you are praying, to
fellowship with and to meet some of the needs of the people on your
list, and natural occasions to share your faith story and God's story.
Pray - above all - that God will give you grace to be an inviter!
Pray that other Prayer Triplets will start in your church.
Agree that the days when the Triplet does not
meet you will set aside a specific time each day to pray for the persons
on your list.
